St. John Fisher College Wins Rain Shortened Metro/Upstate Golf Championship

Metro/Upstate Men's Golf Championship Results

The St. John Fisher men's golf team won the ECAC Metro/Upstate
Golf Championship, after Day 2 of the tournament was rained out. On
the first and only day of play the team shot a 304, and held an
11-stroke lead when the second day was called off.

Blyth and Joe
Feeney led the Cardinals on Saturday, both finishing in a
tie for first place after shooting a 75 (+4) at Blue Heron Hills
Golf Club. The two will share medal honors with Elmira
College's Ryan Torresin who also shot a 75
(+4).
Junior Joe Redulski finished in fourth place after shooting a 76
(+5), while Thaddeus
Wier III ended just below him in a tie for fifth with a
score of 78 (+7).
Tyler McArdle, who finished in first place at the Empire 8
Championships just a few weekends ago, would go on to finish in
seventh place following a Round 1 score of 79 (+8).
In the individual competition, Riley Olsen finished in 10th place
after shooting an 80 (+9), while Ryan McGinnish finished tied for
11th with an 81 (+10). John
Gerber finished tied for 19th with a one day score of 83
(+12).
The Cardinals have now won the tournament six years in a row,
dating back to the 2006-2007 season.
