ECAC and Sherbrook SBK Hockey Co. Reach Agreement

CAPE COD, Mass. – The Eastern College Athletic Conference and Eident Sports Marketing announced today that Sherbrook SBK Hockey Company will provide ice hockey goaltending equipment buying programs to the ECAC membership, and be the Official Goaltending Equipment Provider for the ECAC Division III Hockey Leagues. SBK will also generously support the Asa. S. Bushnell intern program through an annual sponsorship.

ECAC Partners With Combat Sports, Inc.

CAPE COD, Mass. – The Eastern College Athletic Conference announced today that the Combat Sports Inc. will provide hockey, baseball, and softball equipment buying programs to the ECAC membership, as well as provide mementos for the awards program.

2008-09 ECAC Men’s East All-Academic Team

Cape Cod, Mass. - Commissioner of the ECAC Rudy Keeling announced today the ECAC Men's East All-Academic team for the 2008-09 season.This marks the eighth year that the conference has named an All-Academic team. A total of 74 student-athletes representing nine of the ten ECAC East teams earned this honor based on outstanding performance in the classroom.

USCHO Names Amherst Defenseman Jeff Landers D-III Player of the Year National Champion Dominick Dawes Wins Highest Coaching Honor

MINNEAPOLIS, MINN. — Amherst senior defenseman Jeff Landers has been selected the USCHO.com National Player of the Year. The Hanover, Mass. native tallied nine goals and 33 assists this season to lead all Division III defensemen. He led the Lord Jeffs to a school-best 22-5-1 record and the NESCAC regular season and playoff titles.
