LAKE PLACID, N.Y. – Freshman F Pier-Oliver Cotnoir netted the game-winning goal late in the second overtime period to lift the No. 1-ranked Norwich University men’s ice hockey team to a 2-1 victory over third-ranked St. Norbert College in the 2010 NCAA Division III National Championship game Saturday afternoon at Herb Brooks Arena.

LAKE PLACID, N.Y. – The No. 1-ranked Norwich University men’s ice hockey team has advanced to the NCAA Division III national championship game for the first time since 2003 after knocking off fifth-ranked Plattsburgh State University, 3-2, in a national semifinal contest Friday evening at Herb Brooks Arena.

The No. 1-ranked Norwich University men's ice hockey team secured its eighth ECAC East Tournament title on Saturday evening by defeating Babson College, 4-1, in front of 2,204 spectators in the tournament's title game at Kreitzberg Arena.
