Titans Claim Second Straight Lynah Bowl

PHILADELPHIA - Quarterback Paul Columbo of Westminster College was named the MVP of the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) James Lynah Bowl, sponsored by GuardLab after running for a pair of touchdowns for 121 yards. The Titans pulled away with a 33-6 win after holding a 20-6 lead at the half.
Westminster took a 3-0 lead on a 29-yard field goal by Justin Dahl early in the first.
The Pioneers took their only lead after a 32-yard pass by Teddy VanGalen to Jerred Beniquez with 6:07 left in the quarter.
Columbo scored twice in the second with a 22-yard run at 5:55 and then a 16-yard scramble with 37 seconds left. The Titans then picked off a pass leading to a Dahl 25-yard field goal to end the half.
Westminster added three more points on Dahl's 26-yard kick followed by Bryson Paulinellie's 81-yard punt return at 3:08.
The Titans finished the fourth quarter with a 41-yard field goal by Dahl with 7:39 left.
Van Galen led the Pioneers with 148 passing yards and one touchdown.
