DANBURY, Conn. – The ECAC Women’s West Hockey League has announced its weekly award winners for the week of competition ending Nov. 6.

SUNY Potsdam forward Jordan Ott was named the league’s Player of the Week, while teammate Delphine Léonard earned Rookie of the Week. Buffalo State College’s Justine Silva rounded out the weekly honors with the Goalie of the Week accolade.

Ott had six points in the Bears' weekend sweep of SUNY Cortland to open ECAC Women’s West Play. The senior started her week with a goal in Potsdam’s 3-1 win over Red Dragons. On Saturday, Ott played a part in all five of the Bears' goals in their 5-1 victory. She recorded her third-career hat trick, including the game-winning goal, to go along with two assists for a career-high five-point day. The weekend gives her 93 points for her career, tying her for the program's all-time scoring record.

Silva allowed just one goal in two victories over No. 9 Utica College this past weekend. The junior made 20 saves in Friday’s 2-1 victory over the Pioneers, then followed up with 25 stops in a 1-0 shutout win on Saturday.

Léonard earns the league’s weekly rookie honor after notching a four-point performance for Potsdam last weekend. The freshman assisted on four of the Bears’ five goals from the blue line in a 5-1 win at Cortland on Saturday.
