DANBURY, Conn. - The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) has announced its 2016 Division II Women's Lacrosse All-ECAC Selections and major award winners.

LIU Post captured two major awards, as senior Emily Delaney was named the ECAC Offensive Player of the Year and teammate Olivia Kirk earned the honor for top defensive player. Mercy College's Hunter Isnardi was voted the ECAC Rookie of the Year, while Adelphi University Head Coach Pat McCabe collected the award for coach of the year.

Offensive Player of the Year
Emily Delaney - LIU Post, Sr., Attack

Delaney had a stellar season for LIU Post, collecting 91 points on 40 goals and 51 assists during the regular season to top the East Coast Conference in points and assists. With postseason competition included, the senior finished the campaign with 99 points on 45 tallies and 54 helpers. The 2016 ECC Offensive Player of the Year earned national recognition for her exploits, earning a first-team nod in the recent Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association Division II All-American selections.

Defensive Player of the Year
Olivia Kirk - LIU Post, So., Goalkeeper

Kirk's solid play in cage played a big role in helping the Pioneers post one of the nation's stingiest defenses in 2016. In 17 games during the regular season, the sophomore compiled a 14-3 record while allowing just 67 goals, fewest in the ECC, and a 4.37 goals-against average. An IWLCA DII First Team All-American, Kirk closed the campaign ranked first in the nation in save percentage (.580 percent) and second in GAA (4.50), with both totals including postseason competition.

Rookie of the Year
Hunter Isnardi - Mercy College, Fr., Midfielder

Isnardi proved to be an offensive weapon for the Mavericks early on in the season, and continued her strong play throughout the campaign. The midfielder totaled 41 goals and 13 assists for 54 points to lead all ECC rookies in points during the regular season. Isnardi also chipped in on draws, controlling a league-best 98 draws during the regular season to top the conference.

Coach of the Year
Pat McCabe - Adelphi University

McCabe led the Panthers, the No. 1 team in the IWLCA national poll all year, to a 16-0 overall record (13-0 NE-10) en route to the Northeast-10 Regular Season title. The two-time defending national champions finished the regular season as the only unbeaten team in the country.
