ECAC Announces Riders of the Week Ending October 26

DANBURY, Conn. – The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) has announced the Equestrian Riders of the Week for the week ending October 26.

Dual Discipline
Fences: Lauren Kolbe - UC Davis (Pictured)
Junior Lauren Kolbe had the event-high score in Fences against South Carolina, with an impressive 86 besting her opponent by 2 points aboard Everest to earn UC Davis’ lone point. She followed with an 85 on Constantine versus Georgia, narrowly missing another point by one mark.

Flat: Sophia Blake - UC Davis
Sophomore Sophia Blake posted competitive rides in Flat across both meets. She scored an 82 aboard Love against South Carolina, then earned UC Davis’ lone point in the event against Georgia with a standout score of 87 aboard Snookie.

Horsemanship: Kylie Jacobson - UC Davis
Junior Kylie Jacobson turned in a key point-winning ride in Horsemanship. She earned the Aggies’ lone point and highest score in the event against Georgia with a 74.5 aboard Teddy, anchoring the team’s effort throughout the weekend.

Reining: Ada Hirschfeld - UC Davis
Sophomore Ada Hirschfeld secured a crucial point in Reining against South Carolina with a 70.75 aboard Slash, helping clinch the 3-1 team win in the event and earning MOP honors. Hirschfeld then added a 72 aboard Jewels versus Georgia, showing continued consistency throughout the doubleheader weekend.

The ECAC (Eastern College Athletic Conference) is an eighty-five-year-old organization with well over 200 member schools across all three NCAA Divisions - I, II and III.
