ECAC Announces Riders of the Week Ending November 2
DANBURY, Conn. – The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) has announced the Equestrian Riders of the Week for the week ending November 2.
Dual Discipline
Fences: Audrey Morris - UT Martin (pictured)
Audrey Morris scored a career-best 84, besting her SDSU opponent by 24 points and earned her first MOP honor. Her effort helped secure a victory for the Skyhawks over SDSU.
Flat: Heidi White - SDSU
Freshman Heidi White won her first collegiate point this weekend against UT Martin, where she scored a 79 against UTM's 74 on Pickles.
Horsemanship: Kailyn Veale - UT Martin
Kailyn Veale had an impressive weekend besting both of her opponents from SDSU and South Carolina. She earned MOP honors for her effort against SDSU earning a season high score of 75.5. Her wins helped to secure victory over ECAC foe SDSU for the Skyhawks.
Reining: Payton Bundy - UT Martin
Payton Bundy won both of her decisions against SDSU and South Carolina this past weekend. The sophomore helped set the stage for victory against the Jackrabbits besting her opponent by a 7.5-point margin. She bested her SC opponent by 1.5 points.
ABOUT THE ECAC
The ECAC (Eastern College Athletic Conference) is an eighty-five-year-old organization with well over 200 member schools across all three NCAA Divisions - I, II and III. The ECAC exists to enhance the experience of student-athletes participating in intercollegiate athletics and provides great value for universities and colleges by sponsoring championships, leagues, bowl games, tournaments and other competitions throughout the Northeast. The ECAC's esports platform is growing and now totals more than sixty colleges and universities and is expanding the geographic footprint for the conference nationally. The ECAC is also sponsoring competitions and leagues involving other varsity and club sports that do not fall under the umbrella of the NCAA.
