ECAC Announces Men's Gymnastics Awards For Week Ending February 9
DANBURY, Conn. – The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) announced it’s weekly awards for Men’s Gymnastics for the week ending February 9.
Co-Gymnast of the Week
Jojo Buselmeier – Army, Sr. (Pictured)
Jojo was a crucial part of Army's win against William & Mary. He averaged over a 9.0 execution score to win all three events that he competed in, including Parallel Bars, which he competed for the first time this season.
Jaxon Clapper – Greenville University, So.
Jaxon had a great day and helped lead Greenville to the highest score of the season for GU and the highest team score in the conference this weekend. He was GU's highest score on both FX and PB, and boosted a E Score of 9.05 or higher on all three events.
Routine of the Week
Luke Tully – William and Mary University, Fr.
Freshman Luke Tully won high bar with a 13.40 and an incredible .7 E score.
Rookie of the Week
Cash Johnston – Army, Fr.
Cash continues to prove his consistency and high value for the Army Black Knights. Cash hit all four routines, sticking two dismounts, with an average execution score of 8.925. He also added in 0.6 tenths of difficulty on High Bar compared to last week and was Army's highest High Bar score to finish 2nd on the event.
