ECAC Announces Men's Gymnastics Awards For Week Ending March 30

DANBURY, Conn. – The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) announced it's weekly awards for Men's Gymnastics for the week ending March 30.

Gymnast of the Week
Isaiah Drake – Navy, Sr.
Drake was a standout for Navy at this past weekend's USAG Collegiate Championship as he was locked in during Friday's team competition and led the Mids to a first place result. Competing in the all-around, he netted Navy 79.55 points to win the AA for his first-ever gold at the USAG. In the team event he placed top-five in four disciplines (T1 on the VT, 4th on R, 5th on PB and 5th on HB.) In the event finals on Saturday, Drake earned a bronze on the rings with a 13.05 score and a fifth on the vault courtesy of a 13.95.

Routine of the Week
Ricky Pizem – William & Mary, Jr.
Pizem led the Tribe on High Bar, qualifying for event finals where he added a Cassina to his set and hit it, finishing with a big stuck dismount for 2nd place and USAG All-American honors.

Rookie of the Week (pictured)
Connor Barrow – William & Mary, Fr.
Barrow qualified in 7th position in prelims and added a 1/2 twist for a beautiful Yurchenko 2.5 and the win, scoring 14.250 and earning USAG Collegiate National Champion and USAG All-American honors for the freshman.
