INDIANOLA, Iowa – Army picked up the 2025 ECAC Men’s Gymnastics title on Saturday afternoon, picking up a team score of 313.500 en route to a conference championship. The win ends Navy’s streak of six consecutive championships, as the Black Knights finished with just enough to claim the crown.

Army headlined a championship field that featured Navy (309.550), Greenville (307.300), Springfield (306.800), William and Mary (306.000) and host Simpson (299.600) as the top six.

Springfield teammates Kaleb Palacio (13.65) and Owen Carney (13.600) turned in first and second respectively in the floor exercise, while Army’s Ben Aguilar, Black Knight teammate Joseph Buselmeier and William and Mary’s Evan Wilkins tied for third with a score of 13.450 each.

In the pommel horse, Navy’s Matthew Petros and Greenville’s Matthew Roth shared first place with a score of 13.550, while fellow Panther Andres Esquivel-Garza (13.450) rounded out the top three. The vault again saw Greenville claim the top two spots, as Panther teammates Ricky Mays (14.300) and Jaxon Clapper (14.250) finished atop the event leaderboard.

Isaiah Drake of Navy collected first place in the still rings, doing so behind a score of 13.450. Alex Campbell of Simpson (13.200) followed in second place, with Buselmeier (13.150) landing in third. Drake went on to win the all-around individual championship for the third consecutive season, making him one of the most decorated gymnasts in conference history.

Navy took three of the top four spots in the parallel bars, with Petros (13.600), William Champagne (13.300) and Drake (13.050) picking up first, third and fourth respectively. Army’s Conor Heary earned second place behind a score of 13.350.

The horizontal bars ended up as the final event of the weekend, with Ricky Pizem of William and Mary leading the way with a score of 13.150. Boone Washburn (Navy), Jake Prabhakaran (Army) and Luke Tully (William and Mary) all tying for second at 13.100.
