NEW BRITAIN, Conn. - The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) made history in November 2015, hosting the first-ever ECAC Division III Football Fest at a pre-determined neutral site.
The Division III Football Bowl Championship series featured six games spread over three days at Central Connecticut State University, with the ECAC crowning a champion and a Most Outstanding Player award for each game.
"We were thrilled with the result of the ECAC Division III Football Bowl Championships," said ECAC President and CEO Dr. Kevin T. McGinniss. "Our goal with this event was to create a memorable championship experience for our student-athletes. Thanks to the tremendous support of our member-institutions and their fans, along with the aid of Paul Schlickmann and his staff at CCSU, we were able to do just that."
