Charlestown, RI - St. Bonaventure began the day 10 strokes off the lead, but in the end won the 2007 ECAC Men's Division I Golf Championship at Shelter Harbor Golf Club.  St. Bonaventure followed up its Round 1 score of 293 with a 303, for a total of 596 (+28).  Sacred Heart University posted the second-best total of the day (297) to finished in second place at 598.  First round leader Binghamton University was 34 strokes higher in Round 2 than it was in the opening round, taking third place with a total of 600.

Sean Curtin of Iona University fired two rounds of 72 to earn the low medalist honors.  His 36-hole total of 144 (+2) was good enough for a one-stroke victory over Matt McClure of Central Connecticut State University.  Five golfers tied for third place individually with scores of 146, including Round 1 co-leaders Patrick Donovan of Binghamton and Nathan Peck of St. Bonaventure, who both struggled to shoot 78s in Round 2.
