Williams claims the 2006 ECAC Division III Men's Cross Country Championship
The Williams men's squad placed all five of
their scorers in the top 10, and tallying 31 points overall. Sean
Hyland '07 led the way with a fourth place finish, followed closely
by Edgar Kosgey '10, Corey Watts '10, Bill Ference '07, Jeff Perlis
'10, Macklin Chaffee '09, and Matt Deady '10. The College of New
Jersey finished in second place, while Amherst College claimed
third.
The men’s teams competing were Amherst, Babson, Bard,
Baruch, Bates, Castleton State, Cazenovia, Coast Guard, Colby, Conn
College, Elms, Emerson, Framingham St., Hobart, Johnson &
Wales, Keene State, Keystone, Lincoln (Pa.), Maritime (N.Y.),
Middlebury, Mitchell, SUNY- New Paltz, Newbury, Oneonta, SUNY
Purchase, Ramapo, RIC, Roger Williams, Rutgers-Camden, Salem State,
Southern Maine, Southern Vermont, Springfield, St. Joseph's (L.I.),
St. Joseph's (Me.), St. Vincent (Pa.), Suffolk, SUNY –IT,
TCNJ, Tufts, U. of New England, UMass Dartmouth, Vassar, Wesleyan,
Westfield State, Williams and WPI.
