VAN CORTLANDT PARK, N.Y. - Georgetown University took home the top honors from the Championship Race at the 2007 IC4A Men's Cross Country Championships in Van Cortlandt Park, while the University of New Hampshire ran to victory in the University Race.
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. - The Williams mens cross country team won the 2007 ECAC Division III Mens Cross Country Championship at Mt. Greylock High School, making it three victories in a row in the event. Williams posted a score of 45 points - 51 points ahead of
Keene State, which finished second out of the nearly 40-team field with 96 points. Oneonta took third place with a team score of 126.
Bronx, New York - In the 2006 IC4A Championship, William & Mary finished first with a score of 45. James Madison was a distant second with 92 points while Yale finished third with 96 followed by Duke (103) and Marist (161). Princeton (176) finished sixth followed by Saint Joseph's (180), Columbia (207) and New Hampshire (239).
The Williams men's squad placed all five of their scorers in the top 10, and tallying 31 points overall. Sean Hyland '07 led the way with a fourth place finish, followed closely by Edgar Kosgey '10, Corey Watts '10, Bill Ference '07, Jeff Perlis '10, Macklin Chaffee '09, and Matt Deady '10. The College of New Jersey finished in second place, while Amherst College claimed third.
Duke University captured the 2005 IC4A Cross Country Championship. In the IC4A Championship race, which is considered the top race for the men, Duke took the team title with a score of 98, followed closely by Cornell in second (112 points), and Notre Dame (127).
New London, Conn. - Williams College won their first ever ECAC Division III Men's Cross Country Championship held at Harkness State Park on Saturday, November 5. Williams placed three of the top six finishers to finish with a score of 46 points.
