After finishing the regular-season with a 31-7 record, Stevenson was selected as the number one seed in the 2008 Division III South Women's Volleyball Championship. The tournament is an eight-team field with quarterfinal, semifinal and championship rounds.

In the first round contests on Wednesday, November 10, Stevenson (31-7) will host SUNY IT (21-11) at TBD p.m. while the second seed Widener University (25-9) will face No. 7 City College of New York (23-12) at 7 p.m. at Widener.  No. 3 Penn State-Behrend (22-9) plays Washington & Jefferson (17-14) at 7 p.m. at Behrend and Cabrini College (20-13) will take on FDU-Florham (21-14) at 6 p.m. in the No. 4/No. 5 match-up at Cabrini.

The first-round winners will advance to the semifinals on Saturday, November 15 at the highest remaining seed remaining.  The winner of Stevenson/SUNY IT will face the winner of Cabrini /FDU-Florham at TBD p.m. in one semifinal, and the winner of Widener/CCNY will play the winner of Behrend/Washington & Jefferson at TBD p.m. in the other semifinal.  The semifinal winners will meet Sunday, November 16 at TBD p.m. for the championship.
