Sara Amitrani - Stevens Institute of Technology
Junior, Middletown, N.J.

Amitrani broke the course record by 12 seconds at the New Jersey Institute of Technology Highland Invite, covering the 5K course with a time of 19:04. Her time also put her in the Steven's record books for the fastest time on a 5K course in school history. Amitrani's victory was the first of her career, as she topped the field of 132 runners and helped the Ducks take home the top team spot at the Invitational.
