Junior, Bellingham, Wash.

Carter captured the individual crown at the Paul Short Invitational with a time of 21:47 over the 6K course. She beat a field of 240 runners, while finishing eight seconds ahead of her nearest competitor. With the strong showing from Carter, Grove City placed second among a field of 39 teams.
