Laura Coogan – Vassar College
Junior, Brooklyn, N.Y.

Coogan battled through the oppressive heat to successfully defend her title at the Vassar College Invitational, finishing tops among the 124 runners.  The Brewers were anchored by Coogan’s 19:24 first place time in the 5k race, a mark 15 seconds better than her nearest competitor.
