Division II

 
Offensive Player of the Week

Mike Ball - Southern New Hampshire University
Senior, Attack, Salem, N.H.

Ball totaled 11 goals and five assists in a 2-0 week.  He registered 10 points (seven goals, three assists) in a win over American International. 


Defensive Player of the Week

Daniel Sciulla - Long Island University-C.W. Post
Senior, Goalkeeper, Merrick, N.Y.

Sciulla blocked 16 shots that helped C.W. Post defeat Mercyhurst, 10-5.  Sciulla is among the leading goalkeepers in the conference with a .611 goals against average and a .649 save percentage.  

 

Division III - New England


Offensive Player of the Week

Mike Stone - Middlebury College
Senior, Midfielder, Boston, Mass.

Stone continued his torrid scoring pace for the Panthers, tallying 11 goals along with an assist to help Middlebury go 2-0 last week.  During an 18-15 win at Skidmore on Tuesday evening, Stone netted a personal-best seven goals.  He followed that performance on Saturday with four goals and an assist in a 12-11 win at Trinity, scoring the game-winning goal with 24 seconds left in the contest.  Stone now has 26 goals in his last five games.

 
Co-Defensive Players of the Week

Kyle Savage - Eastern Connecticut State University
Senior, Goalkeeper, Southington, Conn.

Savage averaged 14 saves per game to backstop Eastern Connecticut to three wins last week, including a pair in the conference.  Savage recorded a season-high 20 saves against UMass-Dartmouth, while stopping 18 against perennial post season qualifier RIT. 

 
Bill Greider - Western New England College
Junior, Midfielder, South Windsor, Conn.

Western New England College junior midfielder Bill Greider was a force for the Golden Bears, winning 24-of-30 face-offs (80 percent), while compiling 13 ground balls in a pair of conference wins.  Greider went 10-for-13 in face-offs with three ground balls, and also contributed on offense with a goal and an assist in a 17-5 win over Salve Regina.  Greider then took 14-of-17 face-offs with 10 ground balls in a 13-5 win at Gordon. 



Division III - Upstate


Offensive Player of the Week

Matt Levesque - Skidmore College
Junior, Attack, Duxbury, Mass.

Levesque had another big week with nine goals and seven assists in two games.  He scored six goals and had three assists and two ground balss in an 18-15 loss to No. 3 Middlebury.  He had three goals, four assists, and four ground balls in a 17-8 Liberty League win at Vassar.

Defensive Player of the Week

Judd Robinson - SUNY Oswego
Junior, Goalkeeper, Guilderland, N.Y.

Robinson collects his second-straight SUNYAC Goalie of the Week accolades.  He went 1-1 including an 11-10 overtime-win over Plattsburgh, which clinched a berth for the Lakers in the SUNYAC playoffs for the first time since 2006.  Robinson tallied 50 saves on the week, including a career-high 29 against the Cardinals. 

 

Division III - Metro/South

Offensive Player of the Week

Jason Reig - Centenary College
Junior, Attack, Chester, N.J.

Reig recorded 17 points on seven goals and ten assists in two game, including game-highs in both goals and assists to lead the Cyclones to a 1-1 (1-0 CSAC) week. 

 
Defensive Player of the Week

John Gesumaria - Kean University
Junior, Goalkeeper, Cranford, N.J. 

Gesumaria picked up a pair of victories last week, helping Kean improve to 10-5 overall.  He stopped 13-of-24 shots he faced, posting a .542 save percentage and a 6.95 goals against average in the two games.
