Track Athlete of the Week
Curry Knox - Colgate University
Senior, Seattle, Wash.
Knox ran a personal-best and a school record in the
100-meter dash with a time of 11.80 at the Bucknell Outdoor
Classic. She qualified for the ECAC Championship with the
fastest time in the Patriot League this season. The senior
also set a personal-best, a school record, and the fastest time in
the Patriot League, while qualifying for the ECAC Championship with
a time of 14.53 in the 100-meter hurdles.
Co-Field Athletes of the Week
Tahari James - Boston University
Senior, Branford, Conn.
Jones won the long jump and triple jump at the Spec Towns
National Team Invitational last week. She recorded a jump of
6.27 meters in the long jump and posted a season-best in the triple
jump with a leap of 13.15 meters. She qualified for the NCAA
Regionals in both events and also anchored the ECAC qualifying
4x100 relay team to a third place finish.
Victoria Flowers - University of Connecticut
Freshman, Providence, R.I.
Flowers won the hammer throw at the Sea Ray Relays at the
University of Tennessee with a toss of 195-4 feet. She set a
personal-best by 15 feet, and posted the second farthest mark in
UConn history. The freshman qualified for the NCAA
Championship and is currently ranked 13th in the
nation.

Track Athlete of the Week
Melissa Nash - Bentley University
Senior, Marshfield, Mass.
Nash finished first out of 30 runners in the 3,000-meter
race at the George Davis Invitational, with a time of 10:19.54 to
win by nearly six seconds.
Field Athlete of the Week
Lauren Raimondi - University of
Massachusetts-Lowell
Sophomore, East Longmeadow, Mass.
Raimondi claimed two events at the UMass-Lowell George
Davis Invitational last week. She won the 100-meter hurdles
in a time of 15.11 seconds and cleared 5-3.25 feet in the high
jump.

Track Athlete of the Week
Sumer Rohrs - Frostburg State University
Senior, Frostburg, Md.
Rohrs qualified for the NCAA Championships in the
100-meter hurdles at the Lynchburg College Classic with a time of
14.23 seconds. She also placed second in the 200-meter dash
in 25.79 seconds.
Field Athlete of the Week
Alyssa Pirinelli - St. Lawrence University
Junior, North Tonawanda, N.Y.
Pirinelli won three events at the Liberty League Outdoor
Championships this past week. She won the shot put with a
toss of 13.06 meters, the discus with a Liberty League record throw
of 37.45 meters and the hammer throw with a distance of 46.85
meters.
