Swimmer of the Week
Jake Mentele - U.S. Military Academy
Senior, Butterfly/Breaststroke, Sioux Falls, S.D.
Mentele won five individual events and one team event in two meets last week. The senior claimed first place finishes in the 100-yard butterfly (52.13, 52.40) and the 100-yard breaststroke (57.02, 57.114). In addition, Mentele won the 200-yard IM against Bucknell and he was part of the winning 400-yard medley against Lehigh.
Diver of the Week
Greg Sievers - U.S. Military Academy
Senior, Diver, San
Antonio, Texas
Sievers swept the one-meter and three-meter diving events against both Bucknell and Lehigh this past week. The senior broke the Academy's record against Lehigh with scores of 335.70 on the one-meter and 361.12 on the three-meter.

Co-Swimmers of the Week
Arthur Engelhard - Bentley

Senior, Backstroke,

Engelhard claimed two individual events and a team event this week against Saint Rose. The senior won the 200-yard backstroke (2:04.19), the 100-yard backstroke (55.84), and took part in the victorious 200-yard medley relay squad.

Vitagliano won three events against Marist, including the 100-yard butterfly (52.78), the 100-yard freestyle (47.56), and the 200-yard freestyle (1:43.53).
Diver of the Week

Haven, Conn.
Flores took first place in the three-meter event with a score of 273.15 against Marist.
Division III
Swimmer of the Week
John Alaimo - Vassar
College
Junior, Freestyle/Butterfly,
Blauvelt, N.Y.
Alaimo competed in two meets over the past week and came away victorious in five individual events and two team events. The junior won the 200-yard freestyle (1:53.97), the 200-yard butterfly (1:33.26), and two team relay events against Trinity. Alaimo then recorded wins against Pace in the 200-yard IM (2:03.30), the 100-yard butterfly (55.80) and 500-yard freestyle (5:04.33).
Diver of the Week
Matthew Culen - Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute
Junior, Diver, Pelham,
N.Y.
Culen won both diving events against Union as well as capturing a new school and pool record and an NCAA qualifying score in the three-meter (288.75). The junior won the one-meter with a score of 208.65.
