Co-Gymnast of the Week
Erica Heaney, University of Rhode Island

Heaney's three event performance at William & Mary helped
the Rams to a 192-191 win over the Tribe in their final regular

high with a 192 team score. She also had a solid performance at
Pennsylvania two days earlier including a team best 9.75 on bars
for second place.

Tatsuno had an outstanding competition with two first
places in vault and balance beam with a career high of 9.80. She
also placed second in the floor exerices only .075 out of first
place. One of the best beam routines her coach has seen in her
three years at Yale.
Co-Rookie of the Week
Maddie Pearsall, Cornell University
Freshman, LaGrange, Ill.
Scores from the Week:
VT: 9.625 UB: 9.55 BB: 9.525 FX: 9.75 AA: 38.425
Pearsall had the second best meet of her collegiate career in Cornell's meet against Pitt, UNC, and Temple, and once again led all freshman all arounders in the ECAC. Her beam score of 9.525 was a personal best, and she was only .05 off her best ever score on floor, helping the Big Red beat North Carolina on that event for the first time ever. All of her scores counted toward Cornell's highest team score of the season, and fifth best ever 192.00.
Dina McNaughton, The College of William & Mary
Freshman, Stoneham, Mass.
Scores from the week:
VT: 9.575 FX: 9.80
McNaughton had a fantastic night this past Friday. She put up personal bests on both floor and vault. She started her night with a solid 9.575 on the vault. She than went out and hit one beautiful set on floor, posting a personal best and first place 9.80. McNaughton has proven herself to be a staple in both lineups and is improving with each competition. She also performed an exhibition routine on beam for the first time this year.
Specialist of the Week
Jen Stack, The College of William & Mary
Sophomore, Enfield, Conn.
Scores from the week:
VT: 9.75 UB: 9.80
Stack topped herself once again. She is on fire and competing with passion. She went out this week and posted two new personal records as well as tying the team season record on vault. She placed first on that event with a 9.75. She than went out and bested herself on bars, posting a 9,8 - again a career high. She is consistent and getting better by the week.
Coach's Choice
Kerri Lutfey, University of
Pennsylvania
Junior, Sherman Oaks, Calif.
Scores from the week:
VT: 9.425 BB: 9.25 FX: 9.55
Lutfey had one of her best meets of the season this
weekend in a dual meet with Rhode Island. On vault, she
scored a 9.425, and beam a 9.25. On floor, for the first time
this season, she upgraded her tumbling passes. She has been
battling with ankle problems all season and not competing up to her
full abilities on floor. Floor is one of her best events, so
she rehabbed her ankles many times a day in order to get her
tumbling passes in her routine. With the season coming to an
end, she wanted to perform her upgraded routine this weekend no
matter what. Kerri started off the team on floor and did a
great job, earning her season high floor score of 9.55! Each
week of the season we have watched her make improvements in her
routine and her scores have been increasing. We look forward
to watching her every meet, knowing she is going to nail her
routines.
