ECAC Announces Week 3 Edition of Division III Women's Gymnast of the Week Program

Jessica Bolduc, Ithaca College

Beam: 9.6

Even though Bolduc took a fall on the uneven bars, she was able to help lead Ithaca College to a 184.2 to 181.4 win over Springfield College in the Bombers’ season opener. She was able to win the all-around, vault, balance beam, and the floor exercise.

Rookie of the Week

Amanda Carney, College at Brockport
Freshman, Walpole, Mass.

Carney performed a solid vault routine to tie for fourth place. She also had a personal-best of 9.525 on floor that earned her a third-place tie.

Specialist of the Week

Elise Konikoff, SUNY Cortland
Freshman, Hamburg, N.Y.

Konikoff has become a formidable athlete in Cortland’s balance beam and vaulting lineups. Against Division I Cornell, Konikoff captured first place on the balance beam and second place on the vault in Cortland’s home loss.

Clark had her best performance of the season on the beam and the floor exercise. Her routines placed her third on the beam and sixth on floor. A three-event performer for Springfield, Clark has been improving each week and making valuable contributions to Springfield’s team score. She nailed her beam routine last week.
