Bizer won three individual events and one team event last week. The senior captured the 50 freestyle (23.67), the 100 freestyle (52.53), and the 100 butterfly (58.43). Bizer also joined the victorious 200 medley relay squad.
Diver of the Week
Kate Hynes - Drexel

Hynes claimed the one-meter with a score of 297.65 and broke the UConn pool record in the three-meter with a score of 308.80.

Swimmer of the Week
Jess Looney - Bryant

Looney had a stellar week capturing six individual events in two meets. The sophomore won the 100-yard freestyle (57.25), the 50-yard freestyle (26.50), and the 1000-yard freestyle (11:23.52) against UMass Dartmouth. Then against Saint Michael's, Looney claimed the 100-yard freestyle (10:32.52), the 100-yard backstroke (1:05.71), and the 400-yard IM (4:53.21).

Varas won the three-meter springboard with an NCAA qualifying score of 264.45 against Southern Connecticut State.

Swimmer of the Week

Stern had a solid performance against Union with two individual victories. The freshman won the 200-yard freestyle (1:53.74) and the 500-yard freestyle (5:03.77).
Diver of the Week
Maria Quagliana - SUNY Brockport
Freshman, Diver,
Horseheads, N.Y.
Quagliana swept the one-meter and three-meter events last week against both Oneonta and Buffalo State. The freshman posted winning scores versus Oneonta in the one-meter (209.90) and the three-meter (221.60). Quagliana then followed up against Buffalo State with a career high score in the one-meter (232.05) and a winning score in the three-meter (211.05).
