ECAC and Post University to Host Career Development Symposium Presented by HIRED! Education on April 17
CENTERVILLE, Mass. – The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) announced today that it will sponsor the HIRED! Education Career Development Symposium, hosted by Post University on Thursday, April 17. Young professionals, graduate assistants, and interns from ECAC member institutions, as well as members of Rising AD’s and Rising Coaches Elite are invited to attend this free seminar and workshop, to be presented by HIRED! Education.

Hired! Education, in partnership with athletic departments, career services and faculty of educational institutions, is dedicated to enhancing the learning experience of today’s students while setting them on a pathway to professional success. The professionals of HIRED! Education help put students in position to place themselves above the competition by giving them real world knowledge and skills for the global workforce.
The focus of the Career Development Symposium will be on student goals, personal strengths, corporate culture, employer expectations and transferable skills. The day will begin with a Professional Development Seminar at 8:30 a.m., followed by two breakout workshops at 10:15 a.m. Participants will have the opportunity to attend both workshops, one with the focus on Corporate Culture and the other on Personal Presentation and Branding. After the sessions, HIRED! Education will host a question and answer segment at 11:30 a.m., providing attendees an opportunity to ask questions about the seminar and the career development workshops. Lunch will be provided following the symposium.
