ECAC Announces Field for 2019 Division III Women's Volleyball Championship

DANBURY, Conn. - The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) has announced New York University as the top overall seed in the 2019 ECAC Division III Women's Volleyball Championship, while Marywood University will host the weekend matches. The tournament will begin with play on Wednesday, Nov. 13.

The top-seeded Violets finished the season with a 25-8 record and will receive a bye in the first round. Joining NYU with first round byes are Neumann University, McDaniel College, and hosts Marywood University.

Wednesday will see four first round games being played.

In pod 2, No. 2 seed Rutgers Newark will host No. 4 Baruch College.

In pod 3, No. 2 Ramapo College will host No. 3 Cedar Crest College.

In pod 4, No. 1 Grove City College hosts No. 4 Penn State Altoona and No. 2 Misericordia University will host No. 3 Brooklyn College.

The winners of each round will move on to the quarterfinals which will take place on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 16-17 at Marywood University.

Game 3: No. 1 Grove City College hosts No. 4 PSU Altoona 7:00 p.m.
Game 4: No. 2 Misericordia University hosts No. 3 Brooklyn College 7:00 p.m. to be played on Thursday, Nov. 14
