ECAC Announces 2019 DIII Football Bowl Games
DANBURY, Conn - The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) has announced via a live selection show the matchups for the 2019 ECAC Division III Bowl Games. These annual ECAC bowls pair up the very best Division III ECAC football programs at four hosted sites on a single date.
The eight teams selected by the ECAC Division III Football Committee to participate are Ithaca College (8-2), Carnegie Mellon University (8-2), Grove City College (8-2), Brevard College (7-2), Washington and Jefferson College (7-3), Westminster College (7-3), Morrisville State (6-4) and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (6-4). The games will take place on Nov. 23 at campus sites.
James Baker and Frank Rossi announced the games, breaking down each matchup and what to be watching for this coming Saturday. The list of the matchups and where teams are going can be seen below.
In the Clayton Chapman Bowl Westminster College will travel to Morrisville State.
The Asa S. Bushnell Bowl will feature Washington and Jefferson traveling to Ithaca College.
The Scotty Whitelaw Bowl will feature Brevard College traveling to Carnegie Mellon University.
The James Lynah Bowl will pair RPI traveling to Grove City College, who will look to defend their 2018 James Lynah Bowl title.
