DANBURY, Conn. - The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) has announced its 2019 Division I FBS All-ECAC Team & Major Awards.

A pair of American Athletic Conference teams split major honors this season in a strong year for the conference. Navy's Malcolm Perry takes home Offensive Player of the Year and coach Ken Niumatalolo won Coach of the Year. Temple's Quincy Roche won Defensive Player of the Year and Re'Mahn Davis won Rookie of the Year.

Perry has had one of the best years a Navy quarterback has had in school history, rushing for 1,804 yards and 21 touchdowns on 267 carries (6.8 average), while completing 43 of his 79 pass attempts for 1,207 yards and six touchdowns. The American Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Year surpassed Navy's single season rushing record and single season total offense record with his 304-yard effort in Navy's victory over Army, his ninth 100-yard game in a row.

Quincy Roche lived in the opponent's backfield this season as the Temple University junior recorded 13 sacks, tying an AAC record, and recorded 18 tackles for loss. The American Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Year was named second team All-American by Pro Football Focus. Roche's season was highlighted by an AAC Player of the Week effort against Tulane with 12 tackles, 3.0 sacks, 6.0 tackles for loss, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.

Re'Mahn Davis set the pace for the Owl backfield that rushed for 1706 yards this season. Davis totaled 178 attempts for 900 yards, averaging 5.1 yards per carry and finding the endzone seven times. The freshman winds up second on Temple's all-time freshman list for every rushing category.

Niumatalolo is no stranger to coach of the year honors, winning American Athletic Conference Coach of the Year for the third time in five years. Niumatalolo led Navy to a 10-2 record and a 7-1 mark in the AAC West Division, which was good enough to share the West Division title with Memphis after being picked to finish fifth in the division by the league's head coaches. The Bear Bryant Award finalist has led Navy to a College Football Playoff ranking of 24, and more importantly their first victory in three years over Army. The victory made Niumatalolo the winningest coach in the history of the Army-Navy game.
