Pfeiffer University Tabbed as Top Overall Seed in ECAC Baseball Championship

DANBURY, Conn. - The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) announced Pfeiffer University as the overall top-seed in the 2019 ECAC Division III Baseball Championship presented by eTeamSponsor.

First-round play will begin on Wednesday, May 8 with No. 4 Wilson College (20-12) hosting No. 5 Penn State Altoona (28-16), with the winner advancing to play No. 1 Pfeiffer University (28-8). Weekend hosts No. 2 Penn State Behrend (24-16) will square off against No. 3 Grove City College (27-15). The Championship game will be played on Sunday May 19.


First Round - Wednesday, May 15 at Wilson College
*Game time is TBD

*Game 1: No. 4 Wilson College (20-12) vs. No. 5 Penn State Altoona (28-16) at Wilson - Time: 3:00 pm


Semifinals - Saturday, May 18 - Penn State Behrend
Game 2: Winner Game 1 vs. Winner Game 2 - 12:00 p.m.

Game 3: Winner Game 3 vs. Winner Game 4 - 4:00 p.m.


Championship - Sunday, May 19 - Penn State Behrend
Game 4: Winner Game 5 vs. Winner Game 6 - 1:00 p.m.
