ECAC Announces 2020 DII Women's Gymnastics All-ECAC Teams and Major Award Winners

Danbury, Conn. - The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) announces its Division II Women's Gymnastics Post Season Awards.

The University of Bridgeport has been declared ECAC champions by virtue of their National Qualifying Score (NQS) after the cancellation of the championship due to COVID-19. West Chester University placed second followed by Southern Connecticut State University.

In recognition of their stellar season the top six gymnasts in their event are recognized as All-ECAC. The teams are based off their NQS that the gymnasts accumulated during the season.

In addition to the All-ECAC teams for each event, there are a total of 37 student-athletes from the three institutions are being recognized for their academic achievements. To be eligible for the all-academic team, student-athletes must carry a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or higher.
