ECAC Announces 2021 DIII Men's Soccer Championship Field

DANBURY, Conn. - The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) has announced Rutgers University – Newark will be the overall top-seed of the 2021 ECAC Division III Men's Soccer Championship. Rutgers Newark and Springfield College will be the sites of the first two rounds. First round play of the tournament will begin on Saturday, November 13.

In pod 1 hosted by Rutgers Newark, the top overall seed Scarlet Raiders play No. 4 Westminster College. No. 2 Penn State Behrend will play No. 3 seed Misericordia University.

In pod 2 hosted by Springfield College, No. 1 Alvernia University will play No. 4 Muhlenberg College. No. 2 and pod hosts Springfield will play against No. 3 Rutgers University - Camden.

The winners of each pod will go on to compete in the final round on Saturday, November 20, hosted by the higher seed.

Pod 1 First Round - Saturday, Nov. 13 & Sunday, Nov. 14 at Rutgers Newark
Game 1: (Sat.): No. 1 Rutgers Newark vs. No. 4 Westminster at 1:00 p.m.
Game 2: (Sat.): No. 2 PSU Behrend vs. No. 3 Misericordia at 3:00 p.m.

Game 3 (Sun.): Winner of Game 1 vs. Winner of Game 2 at 1:00 p.m.

Pod 2 First Round - Saturday, Nov. 13 & Sunday, Nov. 14 at Springfield College
Game 1: (Sat.): No. 1 Alvernia vs. No. 4 Muhlenberg at 11:00 a.m.
Game 2: (Sat.): No. 2 Springfield vs. No. 3 Rutgers Camden at 2:00 p.m.

Game 3 (Sun.): Winner of Game 1 vs. Winner of Game 2 at 2:00 p.m.

Championship – Saturday or Sunday, Nov. 20 or 21 at TBD
Winner Pod 1 vs. Winner Pod 2 - 12:00 p.m.
