ECAC Announces Men's Gymnastics Awards For Week Ending March 28
DANBURY, Conn. – The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) announced it’s weekly awards for Men’s Gymnastics for the week ending March 28.
Gymnast of the Week
Aiden Cuy – William & Mary, So., Warwick, RI
Cuy led the Tribe in the All-Around with his highest score of the season with a 75.90. He contributed four scores for the team score and stuck landings on floor and rings.
Specialist of the Week
Zachary Mitchell – Army, Jr., Bellemore, NY
Mitchell had his best competition of the season this past weekend for the Black Knights. He was Army’s top score on parallel bars and horizontal bar, with season high scores on both events. Mitchell was also West Point’s second highest score on pommel horse and posted a score just shy of his season high.
Rookie of the Week
Kalvin Kingshill – Army, So., Westfield, IN
Kingshill continued making an impact for West Point this past weekend versus Stanford, nailing both floor exercise and horizontal bar routines capped with stuck dismounts each. He was Army’s top score on floor and scored a career and season high on horizontal bar. Kalvin’s 13.05 was also the top score by a rookie on floor exercise in the ECAC this past weekend.

The ECAC (Eastern College Athletic Conference) is an eighty-two-year-old organization with well over 200 member schools across all three NCAA Divisions - I, II and III. The ECAC exists to enhance the experience of student-athletes participating in intercollegiate athletics and provides great value for universities and colleges by sponsoring championships, leagues, bowl games, tournaments and other competitions throughout the Northeast.
