Springfield, Mass.
- The U.S. Naval Academy Athletic Association's men's and women's track and field programs swept the 2021 ICAAA Men's Outdoor Track and Field Championship and Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championship for the first time in championship history. It is the first time since UConn in 2010 for the same school to win both championships.  The three-day event at American International College concluded Sunday, May 16.

It is Navy's seventh IC4A title and first three-peat since winning the 1944, 1945 and 1946 championships. The Midshipmen won the championship in 2019, 2018 and 1973. There was no championship in 2020 due to COVID-19 shutdowns. The last team to three-peat was Georgetown, winning four-straight from 1998 to 2001.

The ECAC Division I women's championship is Navy's first as a Division I team, having won the ECAC Division II title in 1989.

Isaac Elliott from Duquesne and Clayton Thompson from Navy were named IC4A Co-Performers of the Meet. They were the only individuals to win two events.

Elliott won the 100-meter dash (10.40) and 200-meter dash (21.14) on Sunday and was part of the fifth-place 4x100 team Saturday. Thompson won the 110-meter hurdles (13.80) and 400-meter hurdles (51.64) on Sunday as well as being on the winning 4x100 relay team Saturday.

Army thrower Emily Mikoud was the ECAC Women's Performer of the Meet after winning the discus throw at 49.17 meters. The win, coupled with runner-up finishes in the shot put and hammer, gave her 26 total points in the meet.

Navy added 78 points on the final day to complete its IC4A victory with 191 total points. Army (119) and Northeastern (49) rounded out the Top 3.

In addition to Thompson's two wins in the hurdles, Navy scored 28 total points in hurdles events with Brahmir Vick (14.07) finishing second in the 110 hurdles. Led by Eric Hughey's first-place time of 46.99, Navy scored 19 points in the 400-meter dash and added five points in the 100-meter dash. Sethan Hollier was runner-up behind Elliott in the 200 for eight points.  Navy was runner-up in the 4x400 relay and won the 4x800 relay with Ian Bartlett, Alexander Rizzo, Sean Casey and Ashwin Briggs combining for a 7:30.33.

Army's Calvin Wetzel, Elijah Bellamy, Luke Griner and Kevin Sembrat teamed up to win the 4x400 in 3:10.90.

Fairleigh Dickinson took first and second in the men's triple jump with Salif Mane claiming victory at 16.14 meters, followed by Taeco O'Garro's 15.68-meter jump.

Navy's women picked up 46 total points on the day to win the championship with 123.5 points. Army was second with 88 points and Saint Francis finished third with 67 points.
