ECAC Announces Preseason Gymnasts To Watch List For 2023

DANBURY, Conn. – The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) has announced its Preseason Gymnasts to Watch List for the 2023 season. The season will begin on January 7 when Greenville University and Simpson College travel to Ann Arbor to compete against the University of Michigan in both program's first ever varsity competition.

ECAC Gymnastics expanded to add both Greenville and Simpson in the 2023 season, joining Army, Navy, Springfield College, and The College of William & Mary. The ECAC Championship will be held at Navy on April 1, where the Midshipmen seek to defend their fourth straight title at home in Annapolis.

Army, Navy and Springfield will all get underway at the West Point Open on Jan. 13-14. William & Mary will start on the Jan. 15 with a virtual competition against Simpson.

The ECAC (Eastern College Athletic Conference) is an eighty-four-year-old organization with well over 200 member schools across all three NCAA Divisions - I, II and III. The ECAC exists to enhance the experience of student-athletes participating in intercollegiate athletics and provides great value for universities and colleges by sponsoring championships, leagues, bowl games, tournaments and other competitions throughout the Northeast.
