ECAC Announces 2023 Division III Bowl Game Pairings
DANBURY, Conn – The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) has announced via a live selection show the matchups for the 2023 ECAC Division III Bowl Games.
The eight teams selected by the ECAC Division III Football Committee to participate are SUNY Brockport (8-2), Widener University (7-3), Carnegie Mellon University (9-1), Hobart College (8-2), Utica University (8-2), Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (7-3), Washington and Jefferson College (8-2) and The United States Merchant Marine Academy (7-2). The games will take place on Nov. 18 at campus sites.
James Baker and Frank Rossi announced the games, breaking down each matchup and what to be watching for this coming Saturday. The list of the matchups and where teams are going can be seen below.
The Asa S. Bushnell Bowl will feature SUNY Brockport (8-2) traveling to Carnegie Mellon University (9-1)
In the Clayton Chapman Bowl, Utica University (8-2) will travel to Hobart College (8-2)
The Scotty Whitelaw Bowl will feature Widener University (7-3) traveling to RPI (7-3)
The James Lynah Bowl will pair USMMA (7-2) traveling to Washington and Jefferson College (8-2)
