IC4A/ECAC Cross Country Championship set for October 18 at Van Cortlandt Park

NEW YORK, N.Y. – The IC4A/ECAC Cross Country Championships are set to take place at Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx on Friday, October 18 beginning at 10:45. This year's races will feature hundreds of runners from 26 ECAC member institutions.

Van Cortlandt Park is a mecca for the sport of cross country, an iconic course that winds through hills and fields of the park. The race finish line will be at the tortoise and hare statue with the starting line set up north of the finish line along Broadway.

Van Cortlandt Park is a public park, there will be no tickets charged for entry. The ECAC asks that all spectators be respectful of the grounds and their surroundings so that the park may be enjoyed by all visitors this Friday.

ABOUT THE ECAC
The ECAC (Eastern College Athletic Conference) is an eighty-five-year-old organization with well over 200 member schools across all three NCAA Divisions - I, II and III.
