Navy Unanimous Selection as Top Team in ECAC Gymnastics Preseason Poll
DANBURY, Conn. – The defending champion Navy Midshipmen were selected as the top team in the ECAC Gymnastics preseason poll, as voted on by coaches.
Navy will be gunning for their seventh straight ECAC title this season and remain favorites to repeat according to coaches. Navy received all six first-place votes. The Midshipmen are led by captain Vishal Mandava.
Navy was followed in the poll by Greenville University. Entering only their third year of competition and led by head coach Zach Peters, the Panthers will look to dethrone Navy after finishing second at the 2024 ECAC Championship. Greenville was followed by Army, William & Mary, Springfield, and Simpson.
The season will begin on January 10 when Army hosts the West Point Open. Simpson College will host the 2025 ECAC Championship on April 5.

ABOUT THE ECAC
The ECAC (Eastern College Athletic Conference) is an eighty-five-year-old organization with well over 200 member schools across all three NCAA Divisions - I, II and III. The ECAC exists to enhance the experience of student-athletes participating in intercollegiate athletics and provides great value for universities and colleges by sponsoring championships, leagues, bowl games, tournaments and other competitions throughout the Northeast.
