ECAC Announces Men's Gymnastics Awards For Week Ending February 18

DANBURY, Conn. – The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) announced it’s weekly awards for Men’s Gymnastics for the week ending February 18.

Co-Gymnast of the Week
Sam Kaplan – Springfield College, So., Fairhaven, MA
Kaplan once again won the all-around competition as he posted a 75.050 at the University of Michigan on Saturday in helping Springfield to a 384.750 team score.

Aiden Cuy – WIlliam & Mary, Gr., Warwick, RI
Cuy lead the Tribe with the all-around win in his first all-around effort this season. Cuy placed third on parallel bars with a season high score of 13.15. Cuy also recorded W&M's top score in two other events, as he registered season bests on floor (12.65) and pommel horse (12.45.)

Specialist of the Week
Logan Watterson – Greenville University, Fr., Dallas, TX
Watterson secured his third event title of the season on vault over both Nebraska and Army this weekend. His 15.0 effort is currently ranked second in the country.

Rookie of the Week
Peyton Cramer – Springfield College, Fr., Grapevine, TX
Cramer was dominant again in the pommel horse scoring 14.35 and winning the event by 0.750 at the University of Michigan, as he continued to be ranked in the top six nationally in the event.

The ECAC (Eastern College Athletic Conference) is an eighty-five-year-old organization with well over 200 member schools across all three NCAA Divisions - I, II and III. The ECAC exists to enhance the experience of student-athletes participating in intercollegiate athletics and provides great value for universities and colleges by sponsoring championships, leagues, bowl games, tournaments and other competitions throughout the Northeast.
