ECAC Announces 2024 DIII Men's Basketball Championship Field
DANBURY, Conn. - The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) has announced Juniata College will be the top overall seed in the 2024 ECAC Division III Men's Basketball Championship, with first weekend championship play hosted by Juniata College and SUNY Maritime. Tournament play will begin Saturday, March 2.
No. 1 Juniata College will receive a bye. No. 4 St. Vincent College play No. 5 PSU Behrend at Juniata on March 2. No. 3 Alvernia University plays No. 6 Manhattanville College on the campus of SUNY Maritime. No. 2 SUNY Maritime receives a bye and awaits the winner of Alvernia vs. Manhattanville.
The championship game will be played on campus at one of the two teams that advances from the first weekend.
Quarterfinals - Saturday, March 2
Game #1: No. 4 St. Vincent College vs. No. 5 PSU Behrend (game played at Juniata College) 3:00 PM
Game #2: No. 3 Alvernia University vs. No. 6 Manhattanville College (game played at SUNY Maritime) 2:00 PM
Semifinals - Sunday, March 3
Game #3: PSU Behrend vs. Juniata College at 2:00 PM
Game #4: Alvernia University vs SUNY Maritime at Noon
Championship - Saturday , March 9 at Juniata College
