ECAC Announces Men's Gymnastics Awards For Week Ending March 3

DANBURY, Conn. – The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) announced it’s weekly awards for Men’s Gymnastics for the week ending March 3.

Gymnast of the Week
Sterling Pariza – Simpson College, So., Dallas, TX
Sterling Pariza had a solid performance on the road against Illinois & William & Mary. With one big mistake on pommel horse he still managed to put up his second highest All-Around score of his career of 75.700.

Specialist of the Week
Sam Lee – William & Mary, Sr., Superior, CO
Sam Lee won on parallel bars and placed second on vault this weekend to highlight a trio top-3 finishes for William & Mary.

Co-Rookie of the Week
Gavin Zborowski – William & Mary, Fr., Arvada, CO
Zborowski highlighted W&M's individual performances by placing second in the all-around with a career high 76.95 and career high on pommel horse with a13.05. He helped the Tribe to season high floor score, with career high on floor, pommel horse, and rings.

Peyton Cramer – Springfield College, Fy., Grapevine, TX
In a dual meet with Penn State over the weekend, Cramer delivered a 14.300 on the pommel horse to win the apparatus by an impressive margin of 0.500 points.  He also posted a 12.450 on the rings to take seventh in the event.

The ECAC exists to enhance the experience of student-athletes participating in intercollegiate athletics and provides great value for universities and colleges by sponsoring championships, leagues, bowl games, tournaments and other competitions throughout the Northeast. The ECAC also hosts a comprehensive esports program that presently involves 160 schools fielding 1100 teams across 14 different esports games, streamed live four nights a week.
