ECAC Announces Riders of the Week Ending November 9
DANBURY, Conn. – The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) has announced the Equestrian Riders of the Week for the week ending November 9.
Dual Discipline
Fences: Chloe Fares - UC Davis
Sophomore Chloe Fares was a consistent force over fences, turning in high-scoring, point-winning rides in both meets. She opened the weekend with an 82 aboard Cici to secure a key point against Delaware State, then delivered the top scoring ride of the meet versus UT Martin—an MOP-winning 86 aboard Salty, outscoring her opponent by 20 points, and helping the Aggies sweep both events.
Flat: Cavan Smith - UC Davis
Freshman Cavan Smith delivered standout Flat performances across both meets. Against Delaware State, she notched a commanding 84 aboard Kevin, defeating her opponent by 21 points to clinch the event’s fourth and final point for UC Davis in the event. She carried that momentum into the UT Martin meet, scoring an 86 aboard Cooper to win by 18 points, assisting the Aggies to win the event 3-1 and earning herself MOP honors for her ride.
Horsemanship: Eliza Plum - UC Davis
Sophomore Eliza Plum turned in clutch point-winning rides in Horsemanship during both meets. She edged her Delaware State opponent with a 66.5 aboard Cinch, then delivered a standout 75 aboard Brady against UT Martin to earn herself MOP honors, helping UC Davis to take the event 3-0.
Reining: Mya Clader - UC Davis
Senior Mya Clader continued her strong season with back-to-back winning rides. She earned the lone Reining point for UC Davis against Delaware State with a 65 aboard Aspen, then followed with a 70.5 on Delta versus UT Martin–the highest score of the event–to claim MOP honors. Clader has now secured six winning rides this season, anchoring the Aggie Western squad’s consistency.
Single Discipline
Fences: Cassidy Exner - Dartmouth
Cassidy Exner picked up the highest fences score of the day scoring an 85 and earned the fences MOP for her ride.
Flat: Camilla Jerng - Dartmouth
Camilla Jerng, like her teammate Cassidy, picked up the highest flat score of the day with a 83 and earned the flat MOP.

The ECAC (Eastern College Athletic Conference) is an eighty-five-year-old organization with well over 200 member schools across all three NCAA Divisions - I, II and III. The ECAC exists to enhance the experience of student-athletes participating in intercollegiate athletics and provides great value for universities and colleges by sponsoring championships, leagues, bowl games, tournaments and other competitions throughout the Northeast.
