ECAC Announces Week 2 Flag Football Players of the Week for March 2 to March 8
The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) announces week 2 awards for Flag Football from March 2 to March 8.
Offensive Player of the Week-
Kira Green, Quarterback for Eastern University
Kira Green led Eastern University to a 62-6 victory over Centenary (N.J.) with an outstanding performance at quarterback. Green completed 15 of 21 passes for 292 yards and six touchdowns, spreading the ball to multiple receivers and averaging nearly 14 yards per attempt. She also added 2 rushing yards while directing an offense that totaled 359 yards. Green's efficiency and ability to produce explosive scoring plays powered the Eagles' dominant win.
Defensive Player of the Week-
Briel Hyppolite, Defensive End for Eastern University
Briel Hyppolite anchored Eastern's defense in the Eagles' 62-6 victory over Centenary (N.J.) with a dominant performance. Hyppolite recorded 12 tackles, 7 tackles for loss, and 6 sacks for 27 yards, consistently disrupting the backfield and shutting down Centenary's offensive attack. Her relentless pressure helped Eastern hold Centenary to just 118 total yards, making her a key force in the Eagles' commanding win.
