ECAC Announces First Flag Football Players of the Week for February 23 to March 1

Danbury, CONN- The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) announced its first weekly awards for Flag Football from February 23 to March 1. Mercy, Kean, Mount St. Mary's, and Penn State Schuylkill opened up the season on Saturday, February 28, following Media Day, which was held at MetLife. 

Offensive Player of the Week-
Abree Brown, Quarterback for Penn State Schuylkill

Abree, our freshman quarterback, threw for 571 yards, completing 60% of her passes with 8 touchdowns and 4 interceptions. 
 

Defensive Player of the Week- 
Alyssa Lane, Safety for Mount St. Mary's

Alyssa began her career with a four-interception game against Mercy, and added picks against Kean and Penn State Schuylkill. She returned her 6 interceptions for a combined 132 yards.
