ECAC Announces Last Regular-Season Flag Football Player Awards for Week Ending April 26
Danbury, Conn.- The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) announces Flag Football Player Awards for Week Ending April 26.
Offensive Player of the Week-
Courtney Kovacs, Wide Receiver/Safety, St. Joseph's University, So (on the left)
Courtney posted 14 receptions for 326 yards and 6 touchdowns, leading St. Joseph's University to a 2-1 record in 3 important ECAC games on the road this weekend. Courtney also added 24 rushing yards and a passing extra point to help the Hawks make their final ECAC playoff push.
Defensive Player of the Week-
Bri Carter, Running Back, Montclair St. University, Fr (on the right)
Carter continued her dominance as a rusher during Montclair's 2-0 week in ECAC competition. Carter totaled 14 flag pulls with 10 tackles for loss and nine sacks. Six of her nine sacks came during a 19-0 win against Wagner on Saturday.
