ECAC Announces Flag Football Player Awards for Week Ending April 5

DANBURY Conn.- The ECAC announces Flag Football Player Awards for the week ending on April 5. 

Offensive Player of the Week-
Jeriyah Johnson, Wide Receiver, Eastern, Sr (on the right)
Jeriyah Johnson delivered a dominant performance, leading the offense with 200 receiving yards, 17 receptions, and 7 touchdowns. Her ability to consistently create separation and make plays after the catch made her nearly unstoppable all game long. Johnson was a key factor in sustaining drives and finishing in the end zone, showcasing elite playmaking ability and reliability in critical moments.

Defensive Player of the Week-
Miranda Morstatt, Receiver/Safety, Penn St. Schuylkill, Fr (on the left)
Miranda Morstatt made a major impact on the defensive side of the ball with her playmaking ability and consistency throughout the week. She recorded 11 flag pulls while also forcing key turnovers that shifted momentum in critical moments. Morstatt totaled 4 interceptions across the week, including a standout performance with two interceptions returned for 71 yards in a win over Centenary. Highlighting her impact was a pick-six, showcasing her ability not only to create turnovers but to turn them directly into points. In addition to her defensive presence, her awareness, anticipation, and ball skills allowed her to consistently disrupt opposing offenses. Her all-around performance highlights her as one of the most impactful defenders on the field.
