AWARD OF MERIT (for student-athletes)

ECAC member institutions may purchase this award to recognize student-athletes who are members of a varsity team governed by ECAC rules of eligibility. It is generally bestowed upon a student-athlete who has combined excellence on the fields of competition and in the classroom or outstanding service to the institution. This award is a 9" x 12" wood plaque with a black engraving plate. There is no restriction as to the number of awards ordered.  The engraving plate indicates the year, name of award, the student-athlete's name, institution and the following script: For excellence on the fields of competition and in the classroom, or outstanding service to this institution.

AWARD OF APPRECIATION (for institutional staff)

ECAC member institutions may purchase this award to recognize institutional staff members for their efforts in supporting and advancing the services and programs of the ECAC and their respective institution. This award is a 9" x 12" wood plaque with a black engraving plate. There is no restriction as to the number of awards ordered.  The engraving plate indicates the year, name of award, the recipient's name, title and institution and the following script: In grateful acknowledgement of loyal support and valued contributions to the advancement of ECAC services and programs.
