The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Hall of Fame will recognize former student-athletes, coaches, administrators, teams, officials, and support staff for outstanding achievements, service, dedication, commitment, and contributions to ECAC sponsored sports, programs, and events. The number of inductees is up to the discretion of the selection committee with no minimum or maximum. Recipients receive a commemorative award and will be recognized in the Conference’s virtual Hall of Fame, housed on ecacsports.com.

In order to be considered, nominees must meet the following criteria:

1. Athlete – candidates must have made significant contributions or achieved at the highest levels for at least two years in his/her sport and must be at least 10 years from completion of eligibility. Examples: All-American status and outstanding performance at the highest levels, recognition such as ECAC Player of the Year and other regional, national, or conference honors.
2. Coach – candidates must have made outstanding contributions to his/her sport as a coach and compiled an outstanding record in ECAC competition.
3. Administrator – candidates must have made outstanding contributions to his/her institution’s athletics programs and the ECAC.
4. Team – nominated teams must have compiled an outstanding record and achieved at the highest levels such as NCAA and ECAC Champions or finalists, undefeated seasons, or other remarkable accomplishments.
5. Support Staff – candidates must have made outstanding contributions to his/her institution’s athletics programs and ECAC sponsored sports, such as athletic trainers, academic advisors, and team managers.
6. Officials – candidates must have made outstanding contributions to officiating in his/her sport(s), as an ECACofficial, coordinator, assignor, director, or instructor.

The ECAC Hall of Fame represents a diverse group of former student-athletes, coaches, administrators, teams, officials and support staff from across decades. Honorees have been selected for outstanding achievements, service, dedication, commitment and contributions to the ECAC and its member institutions.
